A thousand thoughts

Aria had, had a good night. Mainly, because she hadn't received any texts or messages from 'A'. Although, she hadn't managed to get hold of Ezra but she'd see him today, she was sure of that. Ari walked down the corridor toward her locker, hoping she didn't have a note in it like Emily had. She arrived & slowly entered her combo, then pulled the door open. She sighed, relieved when she saw that the contents of her locker was exactly the same as it had been the day before.

This whole 'A' thing was really disturbing for her, she knew it was for the others to. Whoever 'A' was knew everything about them, yet they had no idea how or more importantly who this mysterious person was. So, they couldn't act. Couldn't defend themselves. They could try & that's what she planned to do. Why should she let whoever 'A' is get any closer? Ari was going to do everything she could, though there wasn't much she could do.

Her mind was elsewhere while she shoved her books into her locker, then smoothed out her outfit. She was trying her hardest to make sure no-one noticed that she hadn't had any sleep last night, & inside she was really, really worried. What if 'A' knew about The Jenna Thing? What if whoever it was told someone? Or went to the police? A thousand thoughts where flying around her head.

Hanna walked down the halls of Rosewood high school with her head held high. She had her school bag with her which held nothing but make-up, money, a phone and stuff like that. She felt like it wasn’t important for her to carry school equipment around with her unless she was going to a class.

Something about ‘a’ had made her really on edge lately and she had a feeling that he/she was going to be messaging her and her friends in someway very soon. She noticed Ari by her locker and walked up to her. “Hey, you look a little tired.” She said to Ari when she was close enough.

“It’s really that obvious?” Aria asked, grabbing the books for her next lesson & closing her locker. “I litterally got no sleep last night” She sighed, leaning with her back against the row of lockers behind her. “This whole ‘A’ thing is seriously getting to me, I mean he/she already know way to much about us. What if they know more then there telling us? What if they know about the whole Jenna thing & stuff?” She muttered quietly, making sure no-one else passing by would hear. Ari was so caught up in the fact that none of them could keep any secrets with ‘A’ around, & there were some that needed to be kept behind closed doors.

“I know. The way I got any sleep was to put it out of my mind and think of laying on a beach in the sun. And yes, yes it is noticeable” Hanna answered and opened her locker a few down the row from Ari’s and put her bag in but got her phone and money out. She grabbed a pen and the books for her next lesson and shut her locker. Hanna turned back to Ari and smiled.

Aria sighed again, this whole thing was just too disturbing. “Anyway, have you seen Spencer & Emily this morning?” Ari asked, trying to do what Hanna had & put it out of her mind. If that was even possible for her, she worried more then Hanna. She knew Hanna wasn’t as worried about it as much as the rest of them were. Though, that was typical Hanna, she never saw the true gravity of any situation.

"No" Hanna answered and her eyes dropped to the floor. "But, I did get a text from Spencer in the morning" Hanna added, holding her phone out on the message so Ari could read it. She had recieved it when she was curling her hair and picking out her outfit for school.

Emily strutted down the corridor, every step seeming to feel heavier then her last. She tried to feel more quick and swift on her feet but all this chaos involving 'A' with undeniable access to her most haunting secrets had put her at ease. It felt hopeless walking the halls anymore with her usual care-free spirit, now she intentionally whipped her head past every corner to assure herself that no one was following her. She'd cringe and shield herself frequently, with the fear that someone had been watching from the shadows. Yet as it may have appeared that she was safe, that was the issue...Emily was never safe and she had nowhere to hide.

Emily spotted Aria and Hanna, two of her best friends along with Spencer Hastings, standing by the lockers. Ever since Ali's disappearance the clan had grew apart until they were all reunited with the bond of the mysterious anonymous texts which threatened their secrets. "Hey," she greeted as she approached them. Emily adjusted the swimming bag that was strapped over her shoulders and toyed with her side braid which was still dampened from her early morning swim meet. "What's new?"

Aria forced a smile when she saw Emily. Everything was a lie or a secret to Ari now, even her own emotions. “Hey” The brunette replied, looking at her friend Emily. The only good part about this whole thing was the way it had reunited their group of friends, after their long distance’s it felt good that they were back together. “Nothing at the moment, have you have anymore message’s from A?” She asked, quietly. Aria’s curiousity was always active when it came to ‘A’, some how they were gonna find out whoever it was & soon enough the games will stop. But for now all they could do was try & keep there secrets as hidden as possible.

Spencer walked down the hallway and smiled as she saw her three friends by their lockers. She was glad to be able to get away from her family. They just frustrated her so much. She hated them at some points and then occasionally she actually liked them. Like when they weren't comparing her to her very "perfect" old sister, Mellisa.

She walked up to them in the hallway and gave them all a smile. "Hey guys," She started before she walked to her locker and put in the combo and pulled the lock open. "What are we talking about?" She asked before opening her locker and grabbing her book out of it for her next class and closing it again.

Aria turned as Spencer appeared, the whole group was together now. Well, apart from Alison... who was dead, apparently. “Hey Spenc.” The brunette greated her, the same fake smile on her face. “A” She answered her question with one single letter, what else was there to talk about. He/She was the main focus of everything between us at the moment. That & our secrets. Ari even had some which the others didn’t know about, well... no one knew apart from ‘A’. How they knew was far beyond her... it was so personal. Not even Alison knew about it, she couldn’t have. Ezra was our new english teacher, so ‘A’ was much more then someone playing a bad practicle joke. ‘A’ was definatley more then a stalker as well...
